Pedro will have his spot from start secured till the day Suarez gets unbanned. Who are they gonna play instead? Deulofeu? Rafinha? Pfft.

Of course it makes sense to sell him. Lucho wants a #9. Neymar, Messi, Suarez, Iniesta are enough great players. No room for Alexis anymore. It was the right thing to do. Pedro will be a squad player.

Xavi is most likely gone, maybe Alexis could have been deployed in a deeper position instead of pushing for another midfielder (Koke) that would cost like 40m.

The reason we're keeping Pedro is because he is happy to be a backup, when Suarez is back he probably won't get a look in. Keeping Alexis just to stick him in the bench is a bad idea so it's good to make money from him and fund the Suarez transfer.

First of all, when you want to sell a player, you don't go around everywhere letting everybody know because that reduces the chance for securing a better price for the player. So, for all you know, we could still sell Pedro (not likely now that Neymar got injured).

Well they didnt let anybody know they wanted to get rid of Alexis either. Same goes for Fabregas. They didnt say anything about wanting to keep him nor wanting to get rid of him.
