No. No more chances. He's had all the opportunities that every single player to not make it here can only dream of and he's failed every time. Either sell or loan if we can't find any buyers, him staying is the absolute worst thing that could happen to us.

Yes, I fully expect us to loan out most of the dead weight like we always do. People thinking we will get a great price for Gomes because of his agent are delusional IMO.

Loan with buy option is a Barca classic. We must always be prepared to get hardly any incoming funds from our player departures. The question is whether that means we will have the funds to really invest in real value in the market or whether our funds are limited and our incompetence in the market will ensure another disaster in the making.

Our funds always seem to be limited every summer but that doesn't stop us from dropping over 150m on total deadweight.

I wouldn't worry about funds as much. If the board really wants a player, they'll find a way, if it's possible.
