Yeah, Gomes has actually been fantastic all season. People only say he's bad because everyone else is. I guess the same applies to Arda as well.

Barca should sell him if there are any buyers interested. He does not deserve another chance because he lacks almost everything a Barca CM should possess. He won't be worth the money spent even if he manages to become decent under Valverde. That is the level that was expected of him and he failed, thus effectively wasting an entire year and damaging our midfield. His time is gone. He can only transform into a valuable asset if he somehow puts in impressive displays and becomes one of the best CMs in La Liga. Highly unlikely, that is.

Tuttosport isn't very reliable at all. pretty much the Italian Sun/Daily fail.

But Juve wanted Gomes for awhile now so this doesn't surprise me.

Would be a dream to sell him. We are stacked in midfield as it is and I'd rather see Roberto/Denis/Rafinha/Alena get those backup minutes.

Either way something needs to give if we sign another Midfielder.

We will see if the Club's position will change if we do need to sell another midfielder.
