Because Valverde is a better coach than Lucho and will make André a better player than he was last year. In the best case he becomes a decent player for us, in the worst case you sell him next summer to EPL or Milan without a loss. Young players don't lose their value when they have a bad season.

From what I saw last season, the dude obviously lacks not only tactical IQ but also lots of other quality that no coach can teach him. Ball control, speed, passing, ect you name it, he never fails to frustrate me on those regards. So him remaining at Barca gives me a really bad feeling towards the new season!
