Pirlo was just walking around out there but still dominated the "amazing" and energetic Jordan Henderson and Captain Fantastic Gerrard.

Pretty much every single decision he took was the right one and there were so many good moments that just oozed class. Plenty of great disguised passes into feet that destroyed England's midfield shape and there was also that genius disguised through-ball with his weak foot. Amazing.

Also worth mentioning the lovely interplay between him, Motta and De Rossi.
