Andrés Iniesta

There isn't any player like Messi. Don't compare him to Messi, please!

Don't be so categorial on that one. Messi is the best player of the world, probably even of this game's history. Still, there's a lot of people who see Iniesta as Messi's equivalent in midfield. Reading Graham Hunter's book about Barca and how the greatest team of the world has developed, one can see that Iniesta is among the best of his class. Messi is outplaying everyone. Without Messi: Iniesta and Xavi had already won a ballon d'or. In that sense: it is not comparing Iniesta to Messi, just using Messi as a benchmark to state how great Iniesta actually is. It's a compliment for both of them ;)

Complaining about pitch again  Such amaizing player, but it is so hard to respect someone after constant moans.

It's understandable. Poor pitch conditions hand an advantage to physical players over technical players. If you want to see football played at the highest level of skill rather than a game of players knocking themselves and the ball around like a Pachinko machine, then it's important to have a decent pitch.

And what does my avatar say? Do you always replay to people out of topic and discussing their avatars even you don't know reasons behind it why it is here?

Why you are so insecure about Iniesta's image?

I just found it funny, that's all

Is it just me, or is iniesta actually pretty fast, expecially with the ball? and i don't mean that he's very agile, that is well known, but the actual pace while running in a straight line. I mean he is not tello, but for a very skinny short playmaker, he seems to cover ground quite fast.

Iniesta is not even running, not even getting his knees up, he is floating on the field, it is an amazing technique that alows him to keep the ball glued to his feet. Other players, hardly control the ball so close while they are sprinting (this does not include Messi). Its the ''I dont give a sh*t'' style, and its great yet very rare. His only mistake is that he often panics in front of goal and rushes it. Cant wait for next Spain match :iniesta:
