He´s 26. Will be 27 in the summer. Hhe´s a great player. The Simeone system hurts his talent. Blatantly.

He's pretty average in France as well. Doesnt really have a solid memorable performance that makes people remember him, while he might be versatile, as a striker he isnt really that impressive. Chances are high that he might flop at Barca.

He lead them to a European Championship final being the best player against Italy and Germany.

That's a France team where the likes of Pogba, Kante look like Ligue 2 players due to the dysfunctional setup of Didier Deschamps lol

He does. His performance against Germany at the last Euro Cup is quite memorable.

No memorable performances?
Henias with his head up his ass as usual - no surprise here.

Griezmann is versatile, quick, great both with head and feet and a hard worker. 100m is well below market value for a player like him. Let's get it done.

We might as well add another 80m or so and go for Harry Kane.

We have to add another 125m in wages for Griezmann most likely as well. The total price isnt really as low as it seems. Its a massive investment, and with Griezmann, Dembele, Suarez, Messi all on extremely high wages, it means Coutinho will play with 2 other midfielders and we'll play with 3 forwards. Not how we play now. Adding Coutinho means we can get more goals from a 4 man midfield than now, so thats good, and more attacking than now. If we in addition to that also replace a midfielder with another forward it means a radical departure from the current system.

Text book Jombi.

Changes the criteria from one potential transfer to the next to try and twist a narrative.

Now we have to include wages and a completely made up figure of 125m.

Gone from shitting himself about the greatest squad ever assembled at Real set to dominate for years to worrying Barca will have too mant good players.

Dembele is not the finished article, he can rotate until Suarez is finished at which point there will be griezmann, messi, Dembele for the forward positions with one or two competent backups

We cannot sign Griezmann, but god forbid Real Madrid sign Neymar, then we're doomed

We can sign Griezmann, but I doubt we'll actually improve by doing so. I would have preferred to give Coutinho more attacking freedom in a 4 man midfield, considering he provides plenty of goals and assists. And Messi of course will provide nothing in defense next season, but thats OK if we play with 4 players in midfield. So it would be more akin to how we play now. The signing of Griezmann means things could get very unbalanced.

How can you bench a player who needs alot of playing time now? He is 20, suarez has at least 2 good seasons, so that means dembele would be bench option how long? You just dont buy one of the best youngest player and bench him.

Things is valverde will have to play all superstars in first 11, and that will change his plans, swuad could be easily unbalanced

Edut: another WC midfielder would be better option, attack with dembele, messi and suarez is good enough, knowing that valverde prefers 4-4-2

He doesn't have to play all the stars at one time, if Suarez is declining as people think then he will have max two years, by that time Dembele will hopefully have integrated and be a full time starter. A front four of coutinho/messi/griezmann/Dembele or a front three with coutinho in midfield

Suarez will not be in his prime for much longer, the chance to get his long term replacement for a good price is here, this is the type of proactive transfer you guys should want

Griezmann is 27 himself. How can that be long term replacement

He is 26 and Suarez will be 31 this week.

Over a four year age difference so it would be looking to future for him to replace him and not wait for Suarez decline and scrambling about looking for a replacement in what would likely be an even crazier market.
