Right. More or less the same role. You have to build a system around Messi having a free role and that screws a lot of other creative players.

Quite clearly asked to play more or less as a midfielder and help them build up the attack.
Got worse when came off and could barely get out their half without him.
Worse with likes of Sorloth there than were with Griez,
