Would you say he's underrated?

He's on the form of his life, and looks like he's one of the best players in the world.

I think most people rate him very highly. Received a lot of praise for carrying Atletico up front this season.

I'd say he's underrated. People know he's class, but to me he's Aguero/Lewandowski-good. If I could then I'd spend crazy on this guy.

I wouldn't say he's underrated, at least not by people who follow La Liga. He's been great all season. The only criticism he's got is that he goes quiet in almost all of the big games.

There's no such a myth as a "tendency" to go missing in big games.
There were simply a couple big games, and a certain player didn't manage to impress there.
Biggest reason was probably because said player was playing in a team that just didn't work against a much superior side, and you wouldn't expect him to beat them on his own without support.

I only just noticed he's taken the archer celebration (Atleti symbol) to Les Bleus. I thought it was cool when he did it at the Bernabeu.

Griezmann may stepped up against Real Madrid away and Sevilla away this season + Bilbao away in the previous season, but that's it.
He has yet to perform well consistency in knockout stage and harder/bigger games in Liga & Copa.
Griezmann has turned on ghost mode too many times in such events.
So yeah, I wouldn't say the Frenchman is a big game player yet.
