Antoine Griezmann

No shit, but it was a positive sign. No need to wallow in misery all the time.

Wallow in misery? Like how people claimed Coutinho to be "second best behind Messi" to "absolutely garbage, sell him immediately", in a matter of few months. So who is the one wallowing in misery?

And I'm not even doubting the abilities of these players but more of the piss poor planning of the board. Considering the oppositions and the position Griez played, that's still alot more than to burst into ecstacy based on a single match. No shit it was a great flex against Betis, but I prefer to reserve my judgement.

Too straightforth for you, dont like my way of thoughts? Go ahead and put me on ignore.

No shit, again. There are obvious questionmarks about him for now (position wise mostly). You said it yourself, reserve your judgement for a few months. So do it.

Read it, tough boy. I said people are so impressed by one game it makes little sense. Almost like how they were fawning over Coutinho. Now beat it.

You made up your mind already. Thats the problem. Im very happy after a good performance by him. But of course 1 performance doesnt cut it - noone argues otherwise.

Stuff like that sounds sensible, but really has a bad connotation to it:

One game doesnt cut it. He can be great and then totally invisible the next game. He'll have much more to prove but I wouldnt hold my breath.

There's valid reasons why I think he would have problems here, that's why I said that. And I'm just pointing out how Coutinho was being hailed as a marquee signing, and how it all came crashing down.

Whether u think of it as a bad intent, thats your problem. Like I said put me on ignore if my comment bothers you that much.

Well, its annoying. Your position is well known, I even share the same reservations about his position. But theres absolutely no need to spit it out after a good performance. Just let us enjoy the moment.

no wonder you're an armchair expert because there's hardly a sport in which there's a more consensus GOAT than basketball - It's MJ.

LBJ is top 3 all time though.

I don’t think LBJ is top 3. Obama, Clinton, and Lincoln would be mine in that order.

King James is definitely #1 though.

Celebrating the individual awards of his team mates in his Instagram stories. What a teamplayer he is.

I really don't care about his extroverted celebrations. It's been a long time I've seen a forward in the Barça-kit doing multiple Vidal-like sliding tackles to win the ball back. You rarely see a player with his skillset doing the 'dirty' work. I hope he continues to do so. Remember: Coutinho was great in the first months too. They both had a better manager before.

Griezmann is in a different dimension compared to Coutinho. The latter had 1,5 genuinely world class seasons on his back, Griezmann has been class in La Liga and CL for years. Not to mention that he was the key player for France in their WC win.
