Antoine Griezmann

What a way to start. Two of the biggest underperforming clowns in football. I'm not complaining though if they take them of our hands and we can actually reinvest the money in talent

The Saudi Prince have tons of money and he think anyone would love to play for his new team. There are also news that he will hire Arsen Wenger as a head-coach.

Newcastle will be the big hope for many failed and overhyped players  Small club, mediocre team, unlimited money...a lot of agents will try to get their foot in the door there.

Doubt we will see any transfers to them though, maybe Coutinho if he wants to return to the PL and has no other option there but no way Griezmann would be be tempted to join them.

Yes. Coutinho has already expressed his desire to return to the EPL. Frank Lampard wants him in Chelsea and that deal looks like very doable. So, he has to choose between London and Newcastle.

As for Griezmann, if Wenger takes the job in Newcastle, he will find a way to convince Antoin to move to "St.James Park" I don't see any other team willing to pay his wages at this moment.

no freakin way coutinho will think of going to a club like newcastle at the age of 27.

Perhaps.

No way Robinho would ever think of going to Man City. But he did.

If Newcastle are serious about joining the EPL elite then they will be throwing the cash at big name signings.

Well there is one, Barca. It's not like he has a reason to leave.

For him, staying at Barcelona is going to be a big mistake. Till Messi is here he won't be able to play at his preffered position. But, if we end up with no deal, then he has to stay.

Yet another very costly and failed transfer from this shit board, hope he'll be put on the market as soon as possible. I was totally against this singning from the moment the first rumours emerged but who am I compared to the members of the board ?

His finishing has been a off a bit too many times but for playing almost a defensive LW role he has not been too bad. But that role will never suit him and pointless buying him for that.

Looked very beginning of season when more central and Messi injured. Thinks that may well be one reason he was brought in and will be kept... he can cover Messi if injured.

Never be Messi clearly but for some insurance he can cover that role better than anyone else in squad.

We knew all along it would be bad fit. Quality player but playing bad position.

Yea, we need either clear 9 or clear winger. Any type of hybrid doesn't work with Messi around. Lautaro is not the greatest fit either. A bit worried he might face the same issues as Griezmann.

Rumors are Lampard wants Coutinho in Chelsea and Griezmann is in the top of Newcastle's list of new signings. If all goes well, we can get rid of both of them this summer. That will be huge relief. It will be difficult to find buyer for that injury prick Ousmane. I don't think there will be candidate for his signature, even if we offer him for free.Same apply to Umtiti.

You were not alone at that time. I have posted probably 10-15 post with words against his signing but the board did it anyway.

See, the problems with Coutinho and Griezmann are identical. At the time, they looked like good signings for our board members because they were already popular names. They did not look at the technical aspect of these signings. All they cared and still do is the revenue. The return of these investments from tickets, merchandise sale, commercials, e.t.c.Their philosophy is: More bigger names, more cash flow. But no one of them has ever thought what is going to happen if one of these "big names" does not fit well in our system. Unfortunately for us, it happened to both of them. With their short tenure with Barcelona, both player dropped their marked value to a point that almost no other team want them at this moment.

Folk are going over the top calling him a flop he has been far from that and without him in the squad Barca would most likely not be top of league.

He has scored/created opening goals in a lot of the games and is about the strongest player in whole team defensively in relation to their role.

Missed some good chances and for 120m not been worth it as a LW as it doesnt suit him fully but far from a flop.
