He was very sharp and did very well defensively. Also created many chances for himself and the team. Was just unlucky with the finishing. If he gets his finishing boots on, he will be unstoppable. We need to give him confidence by starting him every game.

Not agree you at all hardyboy. Since this guy joined Barca, he did not have a single good match. How long patience do you need to still field this guy. I would bench him for ever. Not taking into consideration that he cost Barca a fortune $120. I would put him on top of the list for getting rid of him in January. BUT no team will take him. Bad luck for us. He should join Koeman and get out from Barca asap.

I really feel bad for him. He has been poorly advised by his Agent . He could actually earn more Money in Atletico , while beeing the Star of the Team and Madrid u live equally good as in Barcelona

I still believe in him and think he's playing well overall but of course everyone will look at him not scoring. His misses were not really that bad (besides penalty), but I think he'd score two of those three shots if he'd be in form. Hopefully this goal in empty need will give him back a bit of confidence which all strikers desperately need when they're not scoring.

Anyway, I very much prefer us playing more fluid and Griezmann missing sitters over having Suarez in the lineup walking around and killing almost every attack, also missing a lot of easy chances and then score some occasionall screamer. Not to mention Griezmann's defensive work rate is much better.

Hopefully, the goal will give him confidence yes especially with Fati out and Coutinho missing he's gonna have a big role to play so let's hope he can step up.

He's never been a massively clinical finisher anyway so you're never gonna get Lewandowski, Aguero, Haaland, prime Suarez etc ratios from him anyway. His best league return for goals was 22 back in 15/16.

those idiots needed the club legend to hand in a transfer request to wake up and start revolting against the so called 'president' who was essentially an under cover agent of the mighty club from capital and had been fucking the club for over 5 years now!

I doubt they would care about an expensive flop
