'FT' as in French Team? Are you seriously suggesting he shouldn't even be called for the team
Regardless of how shit he has been with Barca, he functions well in Deschamps team. He was easily their best player in Euro 2016, had a good WC (and won it), and he scores regularly for them. Hindsight is 20/20 and not calling Benzema turned out to be the right thing for the French team.
Lewandowski made a great reference to this at his POTY presentation.
When asked about a Messi/Ronaldo comparison he said
"Messi and Ronaldo have been at the top for many years, I can't sit at their table.
