100mil for this guy makes me glad we got most of our business done early in the window. Take a look at his stats for Ajax in Eredivisie.. this guy is all fart and no shit. Don't think that will go down well in the PL.

lol your first phrase is exatctly what I was thinking. All these tricks and samba football he will only be able to pull off in Eredivisie. No way he will in any top league.

I won't write him off yet but for a guy who was making demands when joining United, wanting control of transfers etc.. he has shown to be stubborn, na?ve and inflexible. Their targets and signings, bar Casemiro (who is probably a board panic signing) are all Eredivisie/Ajax/ex-Ajax, PL is a huge step up and even players who look destined for the top (De Ligt and Frenkie) still haven't shown that level since.

Martinez 5ft9 bought to play as CB in the PL for 50mil+ shows a lack of understanding of the PL. Even Pep plays with tall lads at the back.
