I think it is a little disrespectful to compare Arda and Iniesta - seriously. In any context.

Its as disgracefull as argentines booing Messi imo.

Nope, watched it. Yilmaz who is under far bigger media pressure because of beating his wife - ran - hustled and worked hard for example. Arda was booed because he was walking all game and then sarcastically gestured to the Turkish supporters.

Almost none of them tried. Some of them didn't try and even played like shit as well, when they recieved the ball. So why didn't these guys get whistled at? Arda is a prominent figure in Turkish media and is the captain of the team, this is the reason he was singled out. The entire team should be whistled at if anything, but Turkish fans can't accept the team just isn't any better. Also, his gesture was after they started booing him.

I have no idea what happened to him. He only missed 4 months of official football and not like he was injured or something, he was training with the team every day so his come back should've been much smoother. I know players who didn't play a whole season due to injury but recovered form in a month or two at max.
