His agent deserves an Oscar for the amount of bullshit he has filled the world's ears with. Even with half Arda's salary being paid - no one wanted him. Strange - he was a average to good sub at Atletico.. makes no sense..

I liked what they brought here. Douglas was a funny meme and Turan had the most fanatical and passionate fanbase here until they got purged.
He was made to look better than he is in Simeone's system. Never a great player. But we finally managed to offload part of his salary if those reports are true. Thats fantastic news.

He was. One of Cholo's main warriors. Represented a link between the midfield and the attack, was responsible when defending.
Also, the fact is that they've been looking for a similar player for ages. Why did they bring Vitolo?
You can argue his quality but he was a great player for Atletico.

I know it hurts a few outside Barcelona, but Arda was never great at Atletico. He was useful in a defensive system. Sometimes fairly good, but best off the bench I am afraid.
