If he's not very expensive age is not that big problem, especially for midfielder. Iniesta's game declined signficantly as he reached 30, but Turan is dfferent type of player.

I wonder if there's any truth in the rumours of Atletico thinking about selling him, because he works his ass off for them everytime and seem to really love the club and he is a great player.
