The 1st trophy of the Scaloneta era.
A moment waited for such a long long time after years of suffering.

Lol Mexican fans have been slagging him off for 20 years. If you can't take the heat, then don't even slag a player off. Bunch of softies.
After the WC26, there is a great group of players coming up and Placente is a highly rated coach, so hopefully the transition is not bad at all. Alvarez, Enzo, MacAllister, Romero, Lisandro will be the leaders in the group.
I unfortunately haven't seen any games of his, but hoping he gets some minutes during the tournament.@soul24rage Is Alex Woiski any good? His contract with Mallorca is expiring and Barca reportedly interested in him.
He leads the line well. Strong for his age group & knows where to position himself across the line & when to make his runs. Good acceleration to get away from defenders & solid finisher but a little wayward at times. He's part of a group of potential future nines for Argentina. Castro, Sarco, Veliz, Ruberto all of whom have similar characteristics. None have played enough minutes at a high enough level to really make a judgement aside from Castro who has shown all the basic fundamentals of being a good solid forward option.@soul24rage Is Alex Woiski any good? Quality in attack but meant a lot of the players behind them had a lot to do. Di Maria is the main worker there.
Think in 2010 and 2014 they suffered a lot from lack of fluency and chemistry as an overall team. It's amazing they got to the final in 2014 because even there I felt they were more individual stars than a cohesive team (though not like in 2010 under Diego).
500 more days for the WC26.
Let's go for the 4th star.
