I guess I am just very precious when it comes to the all-time greats, and the pantheon. You didn't even say anything bad or wrong, I just took it the wrong way and went on a rant.

I think Lewy is probably 6-10 best striker ever, quite possibly, just think top 5 is a bit much. But I should have put my point across calmly. Apologies son.

I know it's different positions, but he should be seen as better than Zlatan and as good as Benzema and Suarez. But for some reason he isn't. He doesn't get their hype. It could be because he played in the shadow of Ronaldo at Real Madrid and Messi at Argentina. He's truly one of the best players of the millennium.

And lots of big games in CL KOs against big teams. Personally rate him as the best pure winger of the last 15 years, slightly ahead of Robben (who is the better player but much more injury prone and not as clutch).

Robben was in my mind as well. He's a good comparison for Di Maria as they are fairly similar players, although with differences too.

I'd agree Robben was even more talented, but as you say not as clutch. I would say he got rid of his injury proneness much more though when the Bayern doctors got hold of him. Overall though agree with most there. So true on Di Maria's big competitions.
