I don't qualify as a real Argentina fan but at this point I have a strong desire for them to win it all (supported by my general dislike of the other NT's involved). Knowing and appreciating the quality and potential of this Argentina side gives assurance that they are capable of combating the Netherlands for a win, but any fan is going to be nervous about the circumstantial factors not falling into their luck (which often does decide a game). Good luck to them, I hope they can achieve it.

Holland's team is pretty rich when it comes to d*uchbags...RVP, Robben, De Jung, Snijder from time to time to name the most famous ones, and the list can go on...you get the picture.

Plus, Romero is not top class but whenever i have seen him in penalty saving, he is not too bad in that department. Tim Krul had a good night too,it is not everyday you can pull such stuff, so lets stay positive

I'm not worried about Krul's performance in case we face him, it's just he pissed me off for doing that crap with the Costa Ricans, and I cant imagine how I would feel if he did that to Argentina regardless of the outcome.


To ease tension I reminded myself of the fact that Australia scored 2 goals against Holland and they were close to tie the game then the Dutch struggled to overcome Mexico but thanks to Robben diving they are still with us today and then facing Costa Rica they had a hard time to score. True many chances but terrible shots.

The only match where they really had glamour was against La Roja but can you say about Iker's performance? !

La Roja's performance during the second half of that match was Bra7i1-esque. Save for a few players, nearly every Spaniard on the field lost the plot, especially Iker, Xabi, and the defenders.
