Tata plays a 4-3-3, a front three of Di Maria, Aguero, Messi and a midfield of banega,pastor and Mascherano is best imo

I have hardly followed Argentina since the World Cup. In that case I agree.

Still it's a shame not to use all of those attacking players from the start when you are Argentina.

Besides I feel that the defense is quite strong and the midfield too if Di María does his defensive job as well.

Actually Pastore deserves to start considering his performances this season. I like my lineup though.

I think you can use it depending on matchup but it didn't look good in the WC. Kun and Higuain underperformed big time.

They underperformed due to lack of match fitness and sharpness. It was a real shame. That said the preliminary 30 man squad has some bizarre inclusions. Demichelis for one. Fernandez ? Martino has barely allowed form to have a bearing on selection.

He should have at the very least brought in 2-3 young players like Dybala, Rulli and Kranevitter. They might not have played but they certainly would have benefited from the tournament experience.

It is a busy summer for Argentine football. No doubt there will be some notable transfers as usual but aside from the senior side both the u20 and u17 are at their respective World Cups. With plenty of talent in both I would like to see the u20 win and the u17 at least make the semifinals.
