Wow what a discussion this was, always happens when Fati sleeps!

About Di Maria: i think what ppl here say is he was often a headless chicken in his young years, i remember when Argentina fans were furious about him until the WC18, Higuain failed in final like whole offense but at least until there he was great.

Older version of Angel became waaaay more consistent, he was their best man in offense when PSG reached cl final imo. I still remember when Tuchel subbed him off vs Bayern and i thought what a stupid move and i was right unfortunately, PSG was crap after that.

He has also rescued his int. career with his insane performances in Copa and WC.

For me one of the best players in this generation, so clutch in finals. Think he wasted his career a bit by moving to Manu,PSG and Juve.

I rate Robben higher tough but thats because this man is one of the best Rws in history for me, alone this insane ball control while running in full speed is umbelievable. Who could do that except Maradona and Messi?? If we wouldnt have played in Messu/CR7 era he would have won a ballon dor.

The problem khaled has is that he's the typical dishonest poster who refuses to debate when you point out the flaws and hypocrisy in his posts.

He's a selective quoter, and evades stuff he knows he has no answer to (see previous pages) and instead targets the personality of the person he is debating with.

I can be a cunt, but I don't selectively quote and I always try to refute or offer a counter-argument to stuff people propose to me. Say what you like but it is very rare (if ever) that I pick out a certain sentence and drill in on that and ignore the other stuff. I repeatedly invited khaled to counter the points I made, but he refused, as he knew he simply could not and my arguments were right (about Zlatan not needing to win trophies for Sweden, his straw man argument, and about him saying Di Maria would hypothetically fail at Barca while wanking over Zlatan, who actually did in reality). He could have acknowledged that, and said 'fair play, those are good points'. But he isn't man enough. I on the other hand if I believe I am wrong (after someone says something to make me think twice) am happy to concede and have in the past.

All of that is why tempt using khaled as some sort of stand up poster or moral highground on my personality in this debate - given what sort of sneaky, selective poster khaled appears to be - is laughable.

If khaled had actually replied to all my points, gave me something new to think about, and i Still acted the cunt, then fair enough. But that isn't the case here - he ignored everything he knew he had no response to and attacked my character. I generally believe his football opinions are nonsense anyway (and going by this thread, so do others), but that isn't why I consider him a mediocre poster - I consider him a mediocre poster because of the underhand tactics he has displayed in this thread (and other threads, too)

Edit: I am not saying khaled is a bad guy, or I dislike him, or anything like that. I am sure he is a normal, decent person. But, as a poster, the way he has manipulated the situation in here to make it seem like I am 100 percent in the wrong and he did nothing wrong (we were both at fault) is rather unbecoming, and very disappointing. He knows himself he could have debated the points I made, but he refused to as there's no real comeback to those points. I admit I was too aggressive, but read that original post on Di Maria, and tell me it deserved anything else. I am not the only one who found it to be complete bollocks from start to finish.

Hahaha tell me about it!

This forum will support a certified lunatic with zero self awareness as long as he parrots a few of their Football opinions.

These lunatics will lie about you, break every rule the forum has but cry victim the second you try to debate and make your point in a civil manner.

Remember you'll always be the one expected to be the bigger man, feel pity and tolerate this nonsense. Otherwise you're the bad human being. The irony!
I actually still think you're a good guy, but I have to say, you change your mind like the weather based on people disagreeing with you.

As soon as I criticised (heavily) Lewy, you got personal, things escalated, and you didn't like me anymore. @Messigician has pointed it out in here.

You made a lengthy post praising me in the appreciation thread. You told me I am a great guy and any woman would be lucky to have me in their life (you'll say now you were just saying that, but it seemed genuine at the time).

Then I take issue with a footballer you love (who is irrelevant in BOTH our lives) and all of a sudden you turn nasty and start hating me. Now I am a 'certified lunatic' and the worst person in the world, worse than Charlie Manson or Ted Bundy in your eyes lol. I play the victim apparently, even though I NEVER targeted you unprovoked until you and delancey teamed up on me in places I wasn't even posting (and btw, two guys teaming up to continuously bully or insult one poster who isn't even present is a cunt's trick and something I have never done, so drop the high and might act).

Like I said in the Lewy thread, I would be happy to bury the hatchet with you, but you seemingly took great offence to some things I said, so you don't want to. When you made that post expressing your appreciation for me, I had displayed plenty of my eccentricities and erratic behaviour for many months. Hence, I don't believe it's a sudden conscience over my erratic nature you have developed. It's much more that you're hurt and holding a grudge because of what I said about your Liverpool support, stuff like DonAK said too. If you cared that much about my flying off the handle you'd never have got on with me in the first place, as it isn't exactly a new development.

Either way, the petty personal politics and relationships on here are tiresome. This thread should be about Argentina and Di Maria (as he is relevant here). If you wanna take me off ignore (as you're clearly opening my posts anyway) and just talk again like normal human beings then fair enough. I am willing to do that despite some of the hurtful things you said to me - I won't hold a grudge or hold on to petty anger. Whether you are the same is your choice.

Wish Soule was right footed. He would be highly considered for the national team if he were.

The national team has so many players who prefer the right wing and not many options in the left wing.

That really helped!
He's a left footed CAM. Reminds me a little bit of Kaka the way he runs with the ball

With Mastantuono developing really fast, Argentina will have a headache of who to play between him and Nico Paz

That's great. It's a very very poor man's version of Kaka against us in the CL final.

If his style is like Kaka, he'll be one of my favourites for sure. Not expecting him to be as quick as Ricky but is he fast?

The closest to Kaka's playing style was Zaniolo pre ACL. Also left footed like Paz.

Keep in mind the assist came with his weaker foot, but Kaka's was more elegantly executed.

He's not as fast as Kaka but more agile. Rumoured to go to Inter Milan as his father and Zanetti are good friends.
