It's not a bad argument outside of a Barca forum actually.

Messi is unquestionably one of the best ever, but Robben is the best player in the world on current form in my opinion. Tonight certainly wouldn't help your case either, Messi has been poor.

Not taking anything away from Messi...he's amazing, but a debate on Messi vs Robben isn't as ridiculous as Barca fans would have you believe. Certainly not this season.
