Dude, City completely outplayed you and they didn't even take half their chances. They could have won 10-3.
To be fair, Arsenal didn't take half of their chances either. Had Giroud scored his and had Wilshere's shot went in, Arsenal would have had 3 goals more. Also the ref's decision seemed a little pro-City, but yeah, City deserved to win.

Do have to admit, I'm getting incredibly frustrated with Giroud, he shouldn't be in a slump like this is his second season he needs to step up. There's a lot more to this than 'bad form' I don't quite know what it is;

As for Ozil, I support him and he's world class, but he needs to start showing a lot more effort.

I think we got hurt by individual performances more than any team failure, Monreal wasn't at his best, Giroud fluffed a few chances in quick succession and didn't redeem himself like Negredo, Ozil wasn't able to/didn't put in 100% effort, and Wilshere gave away the ball tons of times. The referee's decision making was terrible of course, but City took their chances well and created more against us than any other team this season. Koscielny getting injured was more of a morale blow (in this specific game), as Vermaelen didn't seem that bad to me, not as good as Koscielny but not bad either. Of course, Koscielny being gone will hurt us, but hopefully he's not out for too long and Vermaelen will be capable enough. It was great to see Walcott back, he played great today and was exactly what we were missing in our poor performances earlier in the season. Now we have a nice 9 day rest before the Chelsea game, we'll hopefully come firing on full cylinders then.

Today wasn't his best game, but he usually runs the most of all Arsenal players bar Ramsey.

All in all it's just 3 points lost - against City, who are almost unbeatable at home, after a strenuous week. Now on to prepare for Chelsea, there's enough time for that. If City continue their bad away form and if Arsenal avoids losing many points, this will be forgotten in a few weeks.

Hmm, strange game. So many cheap goals conceded. Lack of concentration, non existent defensive midfield, which was expected with Arteta missing. But, how come every single team apart from Hull and Everton concede so many easy goals against City?

Sure, they might be the best attacking team in the league but come on, just look at how easily their opponents lose their concentration. It happend to Spurs, to United and now to Arsenal. Very poor.

Arteta would have been slaughtered here. He is too slow to handle the likes of aguero & co.

City are devastating on the break, with incredible pace, and Arteta would just have been a bystander, or worse, hauled down players and gotten sent off.

He's handled teams with more pace than this. Produced MOTM performances against the likes of Dortmund. And so far, nothing suggests that Flamini is better. Arsenal as well as Arteta are better statistically than Flamini.
But to be fair, it was more a question of the defensive shape today. Flamini was still shocking though.

As far as I know Ozil has never really been a big game player. He almost always disappeared against Barca if my memory serves me correctly. I know they are of a different caliber to most teams but still, he's very consistent against most teams but not as much when the pressure is on.

Not this again...
he had a motm performance against Everton last week. Don't you remember?

He had a decent performance today. An assist to Walcott and was involved in the second goal as well. Some nice moments apart from that as well. His reputation is what destroys him. It doesn't matter how many good performances against top sides he produces, he's still apparently not a "big game player". I find it annoying to be honest.

Ozil was not that good against Everton, he had a decent game, had he not scored that tap in it would have been a very average performance from him. He is like Coutinho, he goes missing in the big games!

Oh man I just wrote a long ass post regarding Ozil and the forum failed to recognize that I even wrote 1 character. Sigh. I'll redo it tomorrow I'm too tired to bother typing it all out again. Blah.

If it's a long argument about him "disappearing" then I'm afraid I'm not interested. How about this, he doesn't dominate games, I'll give you that. He's the kind of player that supports. Usually by moving in to good positions and by keeping the game moving.

His assist record against the so called big teams are in fact great.

EDIT: Sorry, that sounded arrogant. Feel feel to post anyway. :)
