If we signed Henry and Fabregas, I don't see no reason we wouldn't sign Bellerin.. He has Barca written all over..

We also signed Gio and Sylvinho but at the same time Song, Hleb, Petit or Tomaz .

As for Hector, I get why he would prefer to stay as long as things are going good there for him though in this case it's a starting position almost guaranteed for him atm.

Bellerin would get starting place right away since he is miles better than Vidal..

I pointed that out in this case but miles better than Vidal is just senseless because they don't have absolutely any equivalent situations to be compared.

Starting position is one thing, getting along later with Barca's standard for RB which usually involves loads of experience and is not for any 21 year old who has 50 games in the PL and 10 in the CL, we have enough examples of Arsenal players not finding their places, so was Song supposed to be Yaya 2 or Hleb a killer winger, while for average La Liga games and CL group matches we could totally deal with Sergi and Aleix and there's no need there to splash big millions on Hector for that, I would rather wait 2-3 years for someone like him and then we'll know if he's worth the quids Arsenal is asking for him.

Is Xhaka even a big signing? Very average player to be considered a big signing.

Lol this is the typical Wenger signing: Just good to average players, with the potential that maybe, MAYBE they become WC one day. He's following this policy for many years.

Is Wenger ever going to be questioned by someone for his signings and lack of results?

12 years, still no major trophy.

Xhaka for 40m seems like meh these days, remember those Italians buying and selling at the beginning of the 2000's, like Thuram and Nedved for the same sum each, those were the shit, these days you pay that for a maybe and players like Benteke or Mane are in the top 50 all-time LOL!

Wenger has a lot of credit in Arsenal.. Even the great Sir Alex would get sacked if he went trophyless for 9 straight seasons.. I don't doubt Arsenal will finish in TOP 4 but they will win fuck all again.. It's kind of a tradition in Arsenal..

I don't think the board at Arsenal really care about silverware. They just want to get top four and see the money rolling in.

They literally said that a few months ago. Their fans still expect things though.. for some odd reason. "I didn't buy Arsenal to win trophies" is more or less what Kroenke said.

Wondering where Xhaka will actually fit in?

Their midfield is stacked!!! Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere, Coquelin, Chamberlain, Elneny and now Xhaka... it's crazy they haven't bought a striker still!

Which one? They wanted Higuain for Giroud+cash or Lacazette for something like 45m€ that Lyon rejects, probably hoping there will be a downfall in Paris and they can snatch another title.

Then Arsenal should quit playing football if trophies aren't important.. They compete for trophies.. Why even bother having football club then.. Change it into something else and be done with.. Or leave it to someone who would care about trophies, not just income..
