Arsenal

The first goal was a freak accident, but Jack should have never been in that position to begin with. The second and third goals were a result of poor marking, fucking Sagna and Gibbs were sleeping on the job. We were on fire from all cylinders in the 2nd half because Newcastle were tired and it's good that we took advantage of it. Olivier Giroud :)wub:) came in and sealed it for Arsenal, really.

With 7 goals, it's hard to argue they didn't do well in attack. But Newcastle's defense? Oh boy...

I really hope that HBA is out there, getting his drink on, because shit like this must be hard to stomach, when you started the season believing you'd be title challengers.

 much love to HBA

A lot of people seem to think Arsenal wants to get Nani, and that it's a good move for them...

Not sure why, I wouldn't want Nani even when he was playing well, because he's a douche. If we're going to spend a lot of money, let's buy Isco instead.

Theo is 100% definitely leaving. I've never heard of a situation where a player runs down his contract to nearly nothing, has a good season, and chooses to stay. We need someone like Adrian Lopez or Roberto Soldado. Someone who can score.

Either way, I don't want any players Ferguson would gladly give us. Been burned already with Silvestre.

Nani's very good, but he tries too many tricks. However unlike Gervinho most of the time it works.

Arteta gets criticised for too many horizontal (sideways) passes whereas Fabregas gets criticised for too many vertical passes. It's a strange world we live in.

According to whoscored Arteta has the best passing stats in the premier league, on account of both, successful passes per game, and total passes per game. That's amazing, but again, most of them are short and sideways passes.

Ye they showed a chart on ESPN of the top midfielders in Europe this season and Arteta is second behind Xavi in terms of number of passes and percentage completed. The effectiveness of these passes is questionable but it still is impressive.

If you want a goalscorer, then I'm afraid Adrian Lopez isn't the right man for the job. Also, how do you evaluate Girouds' performances so far? He's settling well, isn't he? Having said that, I think getting more defensive reinforcements should be the highest priority as well as a box-to-box midfielder who can bring energy to the midfield (Too bad Diaby can't stay fit for long as I remember that he was brilliant at Anfield this season.) because a triumvirate of Cazorla-Wilshere-Arteta isn't the most convincing without possession.

Pedro would be amazing, but Barca would never sell. It would actually be really interesting to see how Pedro would do at a club where he would be the main man all the play flows through him. It turned a donkey like Adebayor into a 30 goal striker, and RVP scored 37 when he was originally a 2nd striker who never wanted to be a #9.

He'd break Messi's record :pedro:

Cazorla's been so inconsistent. He's Spanish, I thought they're world class or something.

He's in a free attacking midfield role, similar to the role Fabregas had. He's nothing like Fabregas, Fabregas was phenomenal and can make killer passes and create chances even if he was thinking of sex. Cazorla's done nothing of the sort.
