Arsenal need a win, greeeaaaat... and they're going to Villa Park. No worries Arsenal, Villa can and will provide! It's kinda their thing, catering to those in need

Wenger's experimenting a 4-1-4-1 tactic this season and so far it hasn't worked. But he's stubborn he will keep it until he's proven right, at the cost of our early season.
We are perhaps the weakest team at defending against counterattacks.

Wenger is wasting everyone's time as usual. Wonder what he's aiming at this season. Ain't competing for the EPL, ain't competing for the CL with Welbeck leading the line and no competent defensive midfield signing. Not good to watch either. So what's the point of Arsenal's season?

Only because Yaya wasn't there to dominate the middle. :coffee:

Probably had something to do with it. Still though, I don't think Wilshere is the main problem. I'd agree with you guys that the formation isn't working out, both Ramsey and Ozil are in uncomfortable roles. I'd just play a 4-2-3-1, something like

----------------------Welbeck-----------------
---Cazorla/Podolski----Ozil---Alexis----------
---------------Wilshere-----Ramsey-----------

That's the default shape, but there would be a lot of movement involved, Wilshere and Ramsey could go up (though not both at the same time), Welbeck and Alexis can interchange, Ozil can roam out wide, etc. etc. And this seems much more defensively solid, Alexis and the other winger helping out on the wings, Ozil isn't burdened with serious defensive responsibility (because that really hurts his play), and Ramsey and Wilshere put in tackles in the middle. Arteta or Flamini can also play instead of Wilshere for extra solidity, but then Ramsey has to worry about going forward because leaving them stranded is asking for trouble on the counter.

Arsenal fans, when will you guys finally get rid of Wenger? You don't have a bad team at all and you finally have access to cash to splurge on new players but I'm convinced its him thats holding you back.

Arsene only staying because of FA cup. 1 Trophy in 8 years. I don't even know why he is still there. Arsenal will be completely different team if a nice coach takes control. Maybe pep?

Well Arsene has legendary status for what he's achieved at Arsenal the board will never sack him. I'm happy that he extended his contract but he can be oh so stubborn sometimes.

Wenger is wasting him at the wing and he looks physically weak, slow and in bad form.

Yesterday was the first time since the 8-2 game against United I wanted Wenger to be sacked, totally unacceptable performance against Dortmund, they should be equal not get totally dominated.

Ozil has been terrible whenever I watch him for Arsenal. Also, why is he playing in the wing?

Because Wilshere is CAM, and obviously is awesome :pep: I was saying ages ago Ozil doesn't look even half the player he used to and i was crucified for it, with loads of people saying he was Arsenals second best player after Ramsey. He pretty much has been a non entity since after Christmas

Arteta-Ramsey
Alexis - Ozil - Da Ox

Is what i'd play, then if Ozil doesn't perform in 5 or 6 games then drop him for Wilshere or Cazorla, also why doesn't Podolski play striker he always seems way more clinical than anyone else in their team to me.

Because Ozil is very good in one position and Wenger is not playing him in that one. He is being forced out wide, so of course he's not gonna be good.

Arsene Wenger is following in SAF and Moyes' footsteps and not utilizing Ozil like they failed to utilize Kagawa.

Wenger is holding Arsenal back. The modern game has passed him by. Arsenal need new blood and a new era under a new ambitious manager
