When he's surrounded by a set of better talents is when we'll realize how great of a facilitator he is. Even when he's "playing it safe" the cohesion and omnipresence a player like this offers is priceless.
Between Busquets, Coutinho, Messi, Dembele and even Rakitic, we probably have more creativity than any other team in the world to make those progressive plays. The games we lost last season were hardly because we lacked someone who could play the key pass. It's because we never got to that point of the attack. Someone like Arthur is exactly what we need right now.
And while on the subject, I just watched his performance and I counted maybe one or two times that I thought he could have chosen a more offensive pass than he did. When he did pick the progressive option, he did it with timing and precision. There's no reason to believe that he can't make the pass when it matters.
