Good pass that. But his running off the ball is very poor. He is not running into space and he is not defending well. He got completely tired by 65 min

Where did you conjure this from? Out of Rakitic/Busi/Arthur, Arthur was the only one who was visibly active during the second half with his involvement. Once Rakitic went off and Vidal came on we regained control of the match and outworked Sevilla for 2 more goals.

guy looks like he always dies from fatique around 70th minute
it's a good thing his benchwarmer is vidal.

It's true. He gives a lot in terms of effort up to that point though, always moving, so he naturally is more tired than other players who stand still more often.

Not running into space? His positioning and movement to receive passes are good. He isn’t making deep vertical runs into space, but that’s not his job.

I wonder how known he is to the world outside Barcelona and Spain.

It might take a few years before he'll be considered one of the best midfielders in the world even if he'll reach that point much earlier.

Since you asked "outside Barcelona and Spain":

- he is known very well in Brazil, a country of 200 million people. He became last year a starter in the Seleção, so he will be known around the world ALSO because of that.
- he is very well known in South America because of Libertadores. He was the best player in the final of 2017. Commentators from other south american countries were praising him almost the entire Libertadores 2017 (which was his first).
- being known in Argentina and Brazil will mean a large number of other S.American players in Europe will have heard about him, as they follow their ex-clubs, have families that follow local clubs and leagues, agents who also are agents of players still in S.America, etc.

This just shows how underrated and underhyped he was when he was in Brazil. At 21 years of age he led his team to the Libertadores (CL equivalent) as the best player in the country and MOTM in the final. He was one of the first and only players in Brazil to play with the influence and Xavi-esque style that he does.

And also the ONLY player in the Brazilian league at the time that ever got attention from the NT. He literally did/achieved everything he could do when he was there. And somehow we were the only big club in for him. Amazing work from whoever scouted him, which I believe may have been Robert.

Only problem is how much of a pain in the ass he's gonna be for Messi in the Copa America :D

Claiming his running off the ball is poor is kind shocking tbh. His main characteristic is to pass the ball and move to give an option. He does that 90% of his minutes in the pitch for Barcelona, dont you saw it? When he he is not doing it at some specific part of a game is probably because he was told to be more positional to help Busquets. Also apparently you cant see the contradition in your post: "he is not running into space and is tired by 65 min".
He is running into space when its the right thing to do, like that third Coutinho goal that was off side. And he is tired by 65 because he is running too much to cover the obvious defensive debilities of the midfield.
