Mate, come on. Prime Xavi was threading balls through to Dani Alves for a past time. Got more assists in the 2-6 than Arthur has his whole career probably.

This was the one pass Xavi regularly made with a high difficulty level - although he didn't make them like Messi does towards Alba. Alves was usually in a position to pass rather than shoot.

Just watching with half an eye these last 10 minutes I've seen one or two passes Arthur made that Xavi wouldn't regularly try.

We got a bag of dicks.

They god a bag of dicks with STDs.

Fair enough.

Do keep in mind that we are paying the bag of dicks double the wages the other bag of dicks was earning.

On a serious note, probably not. Arthur's younger and will always have some value. But glad we got rid of him.
For me he was pretty good in 18/19 (had even a decent start to the 19/20 season) , but after that the STD problems started popping and it went south from there.

There was one play that caught my attention: Around min 80 Arthur had McKennie in front of him sprinting into a wide open gap between their CB and LB. All he had to do was to give a simple lob ball into the space and McKennie would be there. Instead he passed it to Cuadrado on the right wing. McKennie was absolutely livid at Arthur, screaming at him.

Really all he did was pass sideways and back this match. It's like he only watched the safe parts of Xavi's game and modeled his game on ONLY that. It's weird.
