I can remember Xavi talking highly of him when Barca signed him, probably still wouldn't have been good enough, but perhaps Xavi would have found a role for him now?

YEah, that's an inexplicable rise in wages for him.

Don't know what would Xavi have made of Arthur now if he was still around.
But I can fairly reasonably imagine that Xavi would have appreciated his skill-set

Somehow i think arthur could do well at psg. Icardi is crap but better than Kean, worse than Morata though imo.

Stronger league, stronger opponents, better teammates, higher expectations from fans and media.

The same as in South America.
Brazil, Guajana and Jamaica have all somewhat similar weather and culture.
But it is not the same to be a starter in Brazilian 1st division or Guajana.

Or if you for some reason love Eastern Europe/Russian climate and culture, it is not the same to make it at a champion of Azerbaijan and Russia.
Russia is for big boys, Azerbaijan is for Soviet Arthur's.
