So what? He isn’t here to replace any of them. He is here for the next 2 years to help bridge the gap between the dickheads in your team, the meek captains and the younger and newer guys who won’t stand up to the seniors without somebody having their back. He is a variety signing that is meant to make both groups less comfortable within one another because he’s the 30 year old that isn’t a Cule and someone who wasn’t born after 1993. Blend together a bit.

And where is the salt? Lol.
It’s well documented you have at least 5 seniors dating back to Pep and Lucho success days, 3 of them are widely known as wankers, the other 2 are far from an aggressive, self-imposing and inspirational types (more like Raul or Iker than Ramos). And then you have Raki who doesn’t really know where he fits in for 3rd year running. The ever so disjointed locker room and lack of leaders is what is holding Barca back since Puyol and Xavi left. Vidal is the first signing of the right type who may actually intimidate Pique into doing his job.

Makes sense what Wolfe is saying. In this respect, what I wouldn't give to have prime Sammy Eto'o in the team.

If we don't have managers who take no shit like Guardiola, Klopp, and the like, who would basically make us a hard working unit again, then you at least need to add some real leaders on the pitch.

Wolfe is absolutely right. The team lacks real leaders.

And lack of balls and leadership is also a big minus for our current stars. No matter the talent, you have to have a competitive edge to win big cup competitions. You can't be having bad nights and show lack of guts and effort.

Football, in many ways, resembles battles of old age. Pretty sure foundations of modern sports were laid mimicing those battles in Roman arenas.

People are too focused on quality whereas discipline, bravery, leadership are often ignored.

Barca have been leaderless for some time, that much is evident. Don't think Vidal is the exact type though. More of a instigator or catalyst, like prime Suarez.

Can't say I disagree. :)

Wolfe is right.
Barca and our fans are too obssessed with technical skills only.

No one commented till lately (after a lot of whining from some of us) about pace, stamina, muscles, height.
In the last few weeks some started to agree that we need some aggression.
Further, leaders, confident guys etc.

All we see is: Frenkie is born to play for Barca.
Because of a nice passes, right?
What if he is scared like Samper or weird in some ways like Dembele?
Guys like Busi, Iniesta, Messi can win only when they are way superior to opponents or if they have some leaders and fighters around.
Back then we had Puyol, Masch, Henry, Etoo.
Now we are not superior anymore and we don't have leaders/fighters.
Frenkies and similar will never lead us to a glory without 2-3 guys like Puyol, player Lucho, Stoichkov, Ronald Koeman, even Ronaldinho and Etoo.
