Arturo Vidal

Bayern really are generous with transfers, arent they?
We got Toni kroos almost for free, and though Vidal isnt that young, that transfer fee is laughable in todays market.

I wonder when they will wisen up and just demand the same crazy money that the rest of the big clubs around Europe does.

It depends if they are prepared to sell a player.

They won’t.

They have stated many times that they think the current market is ridiculous and don’t want to participate in it. They’ve sold player below market value to the likes of Barca, Madrid and Juve and in return have received the likes of James and Coman for well below market value.

They will continue to operate like this so they can in return get players for below market value in return.

I guess thats a strategy that works okay, its not like its actually possible to compete with QSG and City in todays market anyways.

Imagine if he fails his medical. Would probably feel sad for him, but it’s good that we are being this careful.

And I resent them massively for that. Likely cost them a CL trophy or maybe 2, and if not for him (Kroos) Real would be going on a long run of no La Liga titles. Major mistake in Bayern's self-interest was this move.

I want to see some stupid start from ramos on him so bad, red cards galore. Cant wait for this season to start, i think we would be the most entertaining club to watch. Vidal favela resident, busi the stoned one, rakitic the good one, suarez the fat tank, messi the chosen one, coutinho the elegant, dembouz the mosquito, pique the next president, umtiti the beast, ter stegen the german wall, cilessen the flying dutchman, i'm already laughing my ass off.

The mistake was that they couldn't give him his salary demands. With a year left on his deal, 25 mill 4 years ago wasn't crazy cheap or anything

Barcelona has the best medical team in Europe, I am confident that if they feel he is of the right condition that it won’t be a big issue.

That lazy bugger Kroos that he was before he left for Madrid? Showed some good matches - got sugar blown in his ass and then was lazy until there came big critics again.

At Bayern he was not that factor at that time. Was more known as the diva that does not track back.

Kroos matches a lot better to Real than he did to Bayern. With his transfer he had to go up a gear that he might not have gone up if he would have stayed.

It is like Thiago - I think in some ways the transfer to Bayern has made him to a more allround player he would have been for Barca if he had stayed.

------------------------

What Bayern told about Vidal's injury in April:

Arturo Vidal underwent knee surgery by Dr Ulrich Boenisch in Augsburg on Monday. The loose body that had been diagnosed beforehand was removed. The attachment of the rear lateral meniscus which was damaged by the loose body was repaired. The season is over for Arturo Vidal.

The surgery in 2014 (it seems that he did not even miss a match because of it) was dann by Cugar.

Not saying some elements are not true, but he was coming off a great world cup and the move massively panned out for Real, who in turn have been their bugaboo.

Maybe Barca, who had the better team at the time, should have realized with the aging Xavi and Iniesta---Kroos could have been in the mix in for the transition. I like Ivan, but I think Kroos is a tad better and younger.

Hindsight is everything, but had Kroos stayed at Bayern, or Barca went for him, both of their fates would have been a lot better and Real's a lot worse. Once Real got the Modric-Kroos-Casmiro midfield settled, they have been a different animal to deal with.

kroos is better but tell me whether he would have been the same player if he was asked to play in Rw to cover Messi and Alves ? . He was a disaster without a proper Dm in Carlo's last season . Kroos might be a better player in attack but in hindsight Ivan proved to be the right signing for us . We have enough players to create but then we have to defend like crazy without xavi's controll and presence .
