Asier Illarramendi

He has played very well recently, might not have been such a bad decision to let Alonso go, if Asier does well this season. He was supposed to be the replacement for Alonso, will be easier to prove that, with Alonso out.

Seems like Carlo is slowly grooming him to take over the Xabi role. He isn't a bad player at all but his confidence was shot for a while.

FREE ILLARA, Why does kroos keep playing so much, he is totally exhausted and this guy is actual a natural defensive midfielder and he's not getting any younger

He will apparently sign for Athletic Bilbao tomorrow. Wow he got such a raw deal from RM. Glad his career is being saved from those scum though.

He played quite well this season the few times he got the chance, dont know why Ancelotti hates rotating. Kroos and Modric needs rest sometimes.

He denied rumors of departure. Would be a silly thing to do anyway, because should Kroos get injured we'd be boned mid-season. We'll see what happens in the summer. I see no reason as to why he should leave. He just needs a breakthrough. He now is kind of in a Varane spot prior to his match vs City, with a few differences of course.

If I'm not wrong then Chelsea collapsed during Carlo's last season due to the same reason, no? Fatigue.

A similar collapse for Real Madrid is probably out of question, but I certainly wouldn't mind :p

That would be awesome lol but I have a feeling he just doesn't like or rate the player hence why he plays Khedira over him and now is buying Lucas Silva. When you think of it, Carlo really hasn't had a major say in transfers since last year a lot of the new guys were already decided by Perez because they were Spanish and he wanted the future of the NT with them :xavi:. And this year with the exception of Kroos who Carlo requested, everyone else came for commercial purposes. Maybe now he is getting rid of the players he doesn't like and bringing in more of his own guys.

:worthy:

40 million Illarramendi with 10 starts all season. :worthy:
Isco "the goalscoring Iniesta" outperformed in midfield by a converted winger. :worthy:

That's why you always listen to uncle Ursegor. :coffee:

Haha you were dead right about Illaramendi but I'm afraid you got it wrong about Isco. Outrageous that Illara cost more than Isco.
