Aurelien Tchouameni

Midfield of Tchouameni Valverde and Camavinga won't work, they are to similar and not creative enough but it's not a problem. At least 2 of them can play together with a more technical and creative midfielder (new Modrić) and it will be great for modern football. Meanwhile at Barca a corpse is the main midfielder...

Go get him, Kylian!

By Jorge C. Pic?n and Marc Mechenoua - Real Madrid are trying to tie up Aur?lien Tchouam?ni. As has transpired these days in the French press, the white club has accelerated negotiations with the footballer and with Monaco to try to integrate the French pearl. However, sources from the said negotiation assure Goal that there is still no agreement between all parties. PSG are responsible for this, who intervened to try to snatch the player from him, opening a new battle between Parisians and Madridistas.

Madrid spied on Tchouameni all year and in contact with him and his entourage, working on the signing. In this task, Madrid relied on Luis Campos for a large part of the season. The Portuguese has been working with the Whites for the last few years to help in this type of situation and, precisely, he has a lot of influence in Monaco, where he worked as a sporting director between 2013 and 2016. This interest has had such an effect. that the midfielder The 23-year-old has made Madrid a priority ahead of other suitors who want to have him.

Mbapp? wanted him in Madrid
One of the first interested in signing Tchouam?ni for Madrid was Mbapp?. In his conversations with white directors when confirming his signing, he commented on the possibility of incorporating his compatriot. In this way, everything seemed to be aimed at the two finishing together at the Santiago Bernab?u. However, everything has changed in recent days.

Once Kylian's renewal was announced, Madrid attempted to fast-track Tchouam?ni's incorporation, aware that PSG and Liverpool were lagging behind. He couldn't afford to lose another gem in the market. The 'reds' fell out of the race and for a few days they have been fleeing that they will not fight for him. However, it was all of Paris that threw all the meat on the grill. Mainly because it was one of Mbapp?'s first requests as the new leader of the project and Al-Khela?fi wants to please his star. Also involved is Luis Campos, who, oddly enough, helped Madrid bring Tchouameni closer together and, now that he's going to be PSG's sporting director, is trying to change his mind.

Latest plot twist:

PSG offered much more, and forced his price up, but the player wants only Madrid
and Perez ended up agreeing last night a price of around 100m with Monaco

100 fuck' million for a CDM

Can't compete with actual states on the market, so this was to be expected.

He will end up as PSG then, as it looks like they really want him.
Casemiro will probably last another couple of years at high level though, while we look for a DM outside of France in coming years, so we have time.

RM will start from now on getting a bitter taste of what it feel like when Qataris have you as their 'enemies'
They will track down all your transfer targets, make them their own targets, and end up either hijacking your deals or at least driving the total price (fee+wages) up and milking you dry.

The same we suffered for so many years after the failed Veratti approach

PSG should have done that much earlier.

Also Bayern wants one of their young CB jewels, I hope PSG will do the same to Bayern. That will make my miserable life as a Barca fan a tad better. :p

Why do you like the oil clubs so much, exactly?

Forget about RM, no problem you want any side to ruin things for us, but you want City and PSG to win over sides like Liverpool and Bayern, real fotball sides that aren't even sworn rivals?

And don't forget, PSG ruined transfer windows for you too, as Birdy points out.

I don't like the oil clubs at all. But I also don't share the same knee-jerk reaction of casting them as pure devil at every turn. Again for me they are not all the same, for me there is a difference between City and PSG, for example.

If they do something at the expense of clubs that I despise so much such as Madrid and Bayern, it is great for me to see. It is as simple as that.

If we set the silly tribalism stuff aside, of course I see them as problems and posing threats to other clubs, especially clubs like ours.

But City and PSG sound not be on the same line.
City never engaged in such 'revenge-driven' actions on the market

You do view them as problems? Thats good then.

I see no difference between City and PSG btw, City may be run quite professionally unlike PSG, but still state-owned at the end of the day.

Of course they are problems, from the sporting perspective the unlimited money their owners can pump into these clubs, circumventing the FFP, creating unfair advantages for them, jacking up prices for everyone and disrupting the market etc., is not good at all.

But if they play games against clubs I don't like or steal a player or two from those clubs or forcing those clubs to pay up, I have no problem with it, I am not going to pretend to be self-righteous about it.

If these clubs are not owned by Gulf states but say by democratic states, would you dislike them less? Genuine question.

If Norway bought a club and started throwing money around, nah, i wouldn't approve of it either.
