I'll address the human rights record of western nations when you acknowledge that Qatar treat foreign workers as slaves.

Deal?

Good player for 30-40 millions, but 80-100 millions for this guy would be crazy. Saving money for Mbappe for 3 years and spending it on this guy would be one of the biggest mistakes. We have at least four better 8s(Modric, Kroos, Fede and Cama) and better 6(Case), there is no need of 80-mil player for the bench. And if he come with this price tag there is possibility that Perez want him to start? thaht will create problems in the changing room too.

All Morten has is insults, while all you is this? Name the country and I?ll outline the abuses.

I'll name it when you recognize Qatar's poor human rights record and the fact that they treat foreign workers, particularly from South and South-East Asia like slaves.

Modric and Kroos are gone soon, as much as we may pretend they are around forever.

Agree that this is way overpriced though, 100 mill for a dm? We should probably just stop and let PSG have him.

I guess the kafala system in Qatar was all fine and dandy.

Tbf to them they have made some reforms to it last few years after intense scrutiny.....although doubts about those being enforced properly.

Whatever reforms they made, the damage was already done, literally thousands died for this world cup that they will be hosting.

This is all well and good. Jair makes some good points about Qatar's recent progression.

But I fail to see the relevance as the United States doesn't own or back the clubs any of these posters support, as Qatar do with PSG. So the parallel doesn't make much sense.

Word? Millions died during the illegal invasion of Iraq.

When is the U.S. going to outlaw their system of slavery?

We can focus on Spain too. Or the U.K., or the French, or the Portuguese, or the Dutch, etc.

It was dismantled in 2019. Meanwhile the U.S. actively carries more legal slaves than there are people living in Qatar.
