As it is, it;s simple inexcusable to continue selling off your best players year in and year out to turn a profit. They'd have one of the stronger teams in Europe if they held onto their players(James, Kondogbia, Carrasco) as opposed to shipping them off the season after they breakthrough. It's a shame that he seems to be wanting to turn a profit rather than pursue prolonged success in the sport.

I like him. He seems very Puyol-esque in his uncompromising style of defending. He also appears to be very vocal on the pitch, which is a thing we've kinda missed since Puyol's retirement.

I like Mathieu. He's a solid rotation option and he even paid out of his pocket to join us. I'd like him to stay. Don't rate Vermaelen at all, but he's barely played for us so have to see how he does and if he can remain fit.

He might've paid some money to join us, but he knew he would get it all back. With the bonuses our team got from the treble Mathieu got all his money back, plus a massive profit. Don't get all the love he gets on here from some. Love him for those two goals, but he's very clumsy and inconsistent. Not to mention his big ass mouth.
