What he was supposed to say? That Laporte isnt committed and wants to leave? No statements of coaches/managers should be taken 100% seriously, the rarely tell the truth, especially when it comes to transfers.

He has a buyout clause anyway so he can leave, doesnt matter what the coach wants/says

yes and there seems to be an understanding between the two structurally in some way that barca will not take from bilbao as bilbao is keen to hold onto their talents and we respect their principles and club.
