so basically he's Vidal but a bit better? And you want us to spend 40m on a RB instead of a striker? We already have 2 ( no one counts Douglas ) people who can play RB who we haven't given a chance. But you want us to spend our remaining budget on another RB and go into the season with only Munir as MSN backup? We did that last season and it didn't work out. Enough with the FIFA line ups where you have young promising talents in every position. Florenzi wasn't a RB before either but he was given a chance there and has made that position his own at Roma. That wouldn't have happened if Roma brought a 40m RB without giving him a chance. Let's do the same for Roberto.

his release clause is 80m and he's miles ahead of Munir. Money's a tad to high but is understandable considering his release clause. He'll allow Munir to go on loan and compete at a club without 3 monsters to go up against.
If it's Valencia even better , since we get Alcacer he'll probably become a starter there and could improve the way Denis has.

Get a RB, such as Florenzi, let Vidal go, or move him to back wingers

There's also Denis and Arda who can play as forwards. Roberto also will likely be Busquets' backup. He can do that and be the rb backup. Our right side is currently much weaker. Messi doesn't really help in defense, and Rakitic and Pique might be overloaded this season.

Problem is we don't have a CF to rest Suarez or replace him. Alcacer is exactly that. Messi at CF doesn't work for me. Tata Martino tried that and it failed massively. He just lacks the combative side of Suarez. To take Messi from the right and play him at no9 is a bad idea for me. I'd rather have Neymar - Alcacer - Messi while Suarez is out than something like Neymar - Messi - Rafinha.
Alcacer makes sense for us, even at 40m. But it doesn't make sense for Valencia and especially for the player himself. If he's willing to come and help knowing he won't play the key games for quite a while at Barca, then I'm happy with this transfer. Alcacer is probably the best player we can realistically buy as the 4th forward.
Paco Alcacer is more of a scorer than both Arda and Denis. And quite clearly. He's a scorer. The others two you mentioned are not.
