That doesnt make them anything alike as players though.
Coutinho has a brilliant final pass as well but wont be anything like Xavi.
Xavi was so all about dominating the ball and getting about pitch to get on it as much as possible. Messi wont/cant do that and plays a far more risky game.
I'm curious. What does it mean for a player to have no release clause in his contract with a club? Does it mean as long as his contract time is not over yet he can ONLY be transferred to another club ONLY when his owner club accept the offer? So confusing!
Help me out here , Dembele was transferred to BvB only a year ago at 15m€ and in his only year at Bundesliga, he scored 6 goals in 32 appearances. Why is valued at 100m€ ? Have football players become stock market assets now, valued arbitrarily by speculations ?
And whatever happened to our scout teams ? We used to get solid promising players at low price from various leagues - now we just wait till another club takes the risk and if the player succeeds we proceed to bid ridiculous amount of money !!

Umtiti and a lot of players due to inflation of the market. Still we are a step behind every time. Dybala would swim to Barca at 40m, Eriksen was offered to us for 15m, hell even matthieu could have been bought at half the money a year before. The 15m euros they paid is almost unfathomable. Very strange indeed. He should have gone for a far higher fee. I think I read a story about some questionable aspects of that deal.
He dominated Bundesliga in his first season. Kicker ranked him as the second best outfield player in the league not playing for Bayern.
Its been a long time since we regularly signed players who increased in value after joining us.
"Through Raul Sanllehí , Barça have already started negotiations with Dortmund, who has moved the first bid for the French striker, and plans to travel to Germany shortly. It has a great advantage in favor: the player's will, which should end up weighing and with the player there is already agreement."
