Not just for his age. He is highly rated among the new generation of Argentine youngsters. He is a good prospect, just nothing that special imo. Calleri was almost an Inter player last summer. Actually everyone thought he is practically an Inter player. Even the club staff confirmed he is coming. But I don't exactly remember what happened. The whole deal collapsed in the last minute and he ended up at Sao Paolo. New reports say he is going to West ham, but the last time I checked nothing had been made official yet. Maybe the board better take a closer look at him in the Olympics.

Montoya was not successful at Barca, and did not seem to do too well on loan since he was at Barca. This type of record tends to depress market value a lot. Getting rid of his salary sounds good to me. Seems like a good guy, well-trained, not real high skill or athletic ability, good luck to him. And I'm looking forward to him trying to cover the Barca forwards for Valencia.

Gabigol is reportedly in advanced talks with Juve (he personally acknowledged it) so I doubt we are going after him.

sounds like despite the Gomez and Bacca links we are still favoring a younger forward.

About this thing that we are offloading players for free, maybe it's Barto's master plan all along. Barca has pretty good business relationships with other clubs in la liga. For example if the media reports are true, Valencia were going to ask much more for Andre Gomes from Real than us. Also when the players know that Barca won't fuck up their careers by asking astronomical transfer fee's if their careers just doesn't work out at barcelona or they are about to retire. This may make us more preferable business partners for any other club.

I hope so because now MD says Mandzukic is also on our list of possible targets.:(

We do need to start thinking about and investing in younger forwards, once Messi and Suarez are gone, we can’t just have one forward in Neymar (who will not be considered young any more by then), right?

Any promising forwards/strikers from our cantera?

Gabigol? Gabriel Jesus? another one that went under the radar that impressed robert was Gabriel's team mate Róger Guedes.
