Yep, unfortunately Dybala will cost above 100M, maybe 150M, and only god knows when...
We missed the train when he was leaving Palermo, willing to swim until Barcelona.
Footballers said a lot of things but how serious are they? Would he really be willing to risk career at his age by first having to sit out for 6 months (or being loaned to another club) because of our transfer ban and then also have limited playing time for around 3 seasons because of MSN at his age? Dembele, Vietto, G. Jesus and probably more young players prefered to join other clubs for that second reason and noone can blame them.
If Dybala would be really willing to swim to BCN like he said then he'd go through all this and be here now if we would show interest. But buying a young striker a year after we paid 80M for Suarez who then became part of the best attacking trio in the world wouldn't make much sense. Not for us and even less for Dybala to join us after he has seen the dominance of MSN and knowing what his role in the team would be.
Second question is how he'd develop being 4th striker here instead of playing regularly at another top club like Juve? He'd be nowhere near as good as he could be now in 2-3 years.
