He we go again , planning for the future when it's NOW that we need action !!

We planned for the future two years ago when we signed 5 or 6 players in the summer all aged 22 ... look how that turned out :(

This happens when the powers that be prefer players like Rakitic, Gomes, Turan and Vidal over players like Kroos, Asensio, Gundogan while letting a La Masia gem like Thiago go for peanuts.

I doubt we get both, especially De Ligt (for a reasonable price) but this is the type of future planning that makes sense. The "23" thing with like Paco, Gomes and Digne wasn't really planning for our future. Non of these players had any real perspective to become a starter here, well maybe they thought it of Gomes

Them being young only mattered for future sales or to keep them as a long term sub. Paco wasn't going to take Suarez spot 2 years after his arrival, same goes for Digne/Alba and Gomes+Denis for Iniesta.

The ajax guys however could (not necessarily would) be starters in 2 years here tho. It's not stupid to already look into a replacement for Pique and setting up a new midfield because Sergio and Rakitic also don't get any younger.

Seems like a dumb rehash of Francesc Aguilar's article that talked about Liverpool's suppose interest in Dembele and Jasper.

For me Kante would be great. Sell Busquets to City for 80 million. Buy Kante for the same price.

Busquets struggles big time in cl against physical opposition. Either he gets bullied off the ball or us too slow in tracking back.

Kante isn't exactly the most physically strong, he just has an amazing engine+ stamina.

Busi isn't the problem, its Raki and Iniesta being slow also.

Kante was chosen player of the season in Premier League which is known for its physicality. If he survives there, he can survive anywhere.

He is also very smart reading plays defensively and has a crazy engine.

This is what is has come to? Sell Busquets?

Man we criticize the board for being incompetent, but if some of these fans would be in their place, we'd have probably sold even Messi at some point around 2014.

Apparently Pep Segura wants to install some sort of asinine policy stating if you leave the club in a transfer you are not allowed to come back for a transfer fee but only for free? What kind of bs is this.

Segura is an incompetent clown anyway. Renember a while ack when he got this job it was argued how he was basically unsuited for his previous function let alone an important one as this.
This is what happens when your club is run by idiots and they install yes men...
Board failing to invest properly has damaged us greatly but its covered up by la liga wins (mostly thanks to Messi).
Take Messi out or having an off day and the failing of the board becomes to visible.

Pique would have never came back if this idiot had something to say about it back then. We buy the likes of Gomes or Paulinho or get Deulofeu back but when we have an opportunity to get a guy like Thiago back for a bargain price this retard suddenly gets tough and feels important. Will be another frustrating summer.
