Actually Gomes isn't that bad. He can at least play for some top 6 club imo, at least as a solid backup player. If not, there are still decent clubs who can pay for his services.

Mina was deemed a catastrophe, but still proved to be a matchwinner for Colombia. Its just that skillset of some players suit some clubs, some not.

About Douglas, he is good for nothing. Even if we sell him, don't expect more than 3-5 million. So,doesn't matter whether he's sold or not. Not that big of a priority.

1. What club will pay us for a mentally fragile player with a huge salary? Not that he's a particularly good player.

2. Mina doesn't suit us. He will go on loan/be sold. He shouldn't be the problem.

3. Doesn't matter. It's important we get rid of him. Once for all if possible.

From what I've read awhile back it seems Celta isn't very interested in moving off that price.

Way too much, 40M:

40 is loads for a backup but we paid 30 for Paco. And with Aspas you can genuinely rotate to give other players rest knowing that he will perform. Whether he would take a bench role is another thing.

Rakitic is good, but hes going over the 30 mark.
In 2-3 years we wont get nearly as much for him.
Probem is it would be another midfielder we would have to replace.

Don't they already have Matic for that? he's the same age as Rakitic as well.

They bought Fred who I see as a Box to Box Midfielder who can cover ground as well. Unless Fred isn't brought in to initially be a starter and Mou thinks Rakitic is proven ready to start to help Matic to cover for Pogba.
