Well he's tall and works well in a double pivot and is a good goal scorer considering he's a Midfielder. He has some flaws no doubt but in Mou's system if he stuck to the 4-2-3-1 he could be a solid ball distributing DM right next to Matic while he does the dirty work.
He's slow but in Mou's defensive system it could help protect him quite a bit honestly.

Aspas is already 30 tho and we can't be sure how he would perform, his last season was great but the ones before that were pretty bad compared to that.
We have to stop paying 40M for every player, Arda+Paco+Gomes should've teached us a lesson here. If he was available for 20M he might be worth a shot but i think this would just be way too much.

There are probably better players than Paulinho for that role, but it s an interesting idea. I d like to see, how that works.
From the top of my head...Vidal or that Belgian dude from Roma would be perfect for this role.

Its to weak going forward. Double pivot is so crap.
Paulinho and Rakitic are crap at passing and bringing the ball forward.
You know Messi would drop down the field in that formation becouse noone can create, just like the last few years.
Paulinho should never be a starter, and we should never play a 4-4-2ish formation, definatly not with a double pivot.

I sure hope that isn't our plans moving forward. Only get Arthur and sign nobody else. What a disaster, we need to fix this midfield to have a chance at CL.
