^ A look at what we have: Cohtinho, Busquets, Rakitić, Arthur, Rafinha, Gomes, Denis, Samper, Alena. I'd like us to offload Gomes, Samper and Denis. At least two of them.

Regarding potential buys.. I agree with you pretty much about everything. Tie down De Jong and we are good. But if I had to pick one, it would be Tanguy Ndombele. Energetic, mobile, technical... Who would you get other than Forsberg?

^ It is either TN or FDJ. I have not watched any of them enough to judge, but the board seems to be interested in FDJ. I would completely rule out TN and definitely, I would not bring them both.

I mentioned Forsberg because of his style and versatility "he plays as LW, which we need." Other than him I do not really know, Thiago? I know he is a not an attacking CM, but he has got the skills to play there unlike Pjanic who is a pure central CM. As I said we do not really need one and I hope the board gets DJ instead of signing someone we do not need. I think we are out of options, but Savic is still available and we have followed him a while ago. I would not mind him"have not watched him enough", but I am afraid that we are going to get both FDJ and Savic.

I disagree with you about Samper. I know Rakitic and Roberto can play there, but I still would keep him.

I think we can play a 4-3-3 with Alba higher than the RB and Suarez more tucked inside as a Left forward with Messi in the middle and Dembele on the right. Messi and Dembele can also switch positions with each other regularly like the game Barca 3-0 Juve

I think this is exactly the way we play again this season. The only difference is Coutinho playing in place of Iniesta.

What's funny is that we keep talking about 4-3-3 but it really exists only on paper.

On the field it's more a 3-4-3 going forward with Busquets dropping in between Umititi-Pique and Alba-Semedo/Roberto pushing up alongside Coutinho and Rakitic/Arthur.

Up front it's Saurez-Messi-Malcolm/Dembele.

Defending it's a flat 4-4-2. Coutinho-Busquets-Raki-Dembele

IMO the onus is on Coutinho to initiate alot of the attacking moves when we play the ball out from the back. I think he has the ability to run the midfield the way Iniesta did making everything tick and linking up with Messi.

You make some good points ..

As I said , in that set up , I'd drop Suarez to impact sub and play a rampaging , interchangeable , front two of Dembele and Malcom with Messi playing slightly deeper than them and more central . I'd also have Arthur in place of Rakitic ...

Raki looked a liability in most of the matches he played a sole DM for us. His ball retention, jukes and fakes just aren't good enough for that position, and him trying to mimic Busi just looked awkward. I have nightmares of him playing coy on the edge of our penalty area, Busi style.
He would probably work perfectly in a dual DM setup, though.

Agreed .. But we now have Arthur of course so we can either use Rakitic as a sub or even cash in on him .

Suarez will play like a LST/left inside forward. We played like this last year. You don't need to look more back that the last Girona match.

This is what I would like to see too. Would be fun times watching that team break on counters. Suarez will start though and there will be plenty of times where we will be able to break but he will take an awful first touch. make an errant pass or try to dummy where no one is close.

Mina - 25-30M
Alcácer - 10-15M or more likely loan
Gomes - he'll stay
Marlon - probably loan
Rafinha - he'll stay or maybe another loan

Maybe:

Cillessen - I think he'll stay but if we'd sell around 25-30M

I don't the the board will be willing to accept such losses on Alcacer and Gomes and would rather keep them
