As I was suspecting and hoping for after the transfer of Munir. Great stuff. We should probably know much more next week. Really hoping that the profile of this attacker will be a bit different, meaning that said striker will have an aerial presence, an eye for goal and some experience. I could imagine that many such profiles would want to move to us just for the chance to win trophies and play with the GOAT etc.

Llorente or Morata?

The big need I see in the squad now is the absence of any backup for L. Suarez. Morata sounds good, he sure might have helped in yesterday's game.

What do we need another striker for? Makes no sense to sign a big name just to warm the bench when we have plenty of players who can play there in case Suarez gets injured.

I'm not at all inclined to the idea of getting anyone short term, but who exactly can play the pure #9 role other than Suarez??? Paco is gone, so is now Munir (not that Munir was ever good enough, so it's good that he's gone).

Messi is the only one, but in that case it turns into the false 9 position. Dembele should only play on the wings, he's made for there, either side is fine. I would like exactly for Malcom actually get a chance in the middle, just to try him and see if he can be made into a rotation option for that position, but it's a shame that Dembele and Malcom didn't exchange positions in the midweek game, i think both would benefit if Dembele had played RW, and Malcom in the middle, since he's a lot more direct and not quite as skillful and quick like Dembele is, which is essential for a winger.

That said, i don't think we need to go out and bring anyone in anyway. If Suarez got injured, we could at least see that Coutinho-Messi-Dembele attack on a regular basis, which is something that most of the fans (including me) want to see (at least more often) anyway.
