What do we need another striker for? Makes no sense to sign a big name just to warm the bench when we have plenty of players who can play there in case Suarez gets injured.

The problem with the plenty of players who can play there in case Suarez gets injured is that they all suck at that job. None of them are sort of OK in the middle, they all truly fail at that job. Barca has a surplus of forwards who can play on the left or the right, lots of duplication of function, the bench needs someone with a different talent set.

Of course, Messi can do it, but he is better when he has a real center forward beside him. Get a target man, someone who can head the ball, just for half a season would be fine.

He's probably been the best defender in the EPL this last few years .
Quite adaptable as well . Never had a bad game and rarely makes mistakes
