Barca Transfers and Rumors

Anyone been watching Coutinho this season and today in particular ?

4 assists today away to tough tacking Palace . Ripped them apart in another dominant and creative performance. .. We should have got him last season really . Also Bellerin is getting better and better .

I'd love these two at Barca. , sooner rather than later !!

If Roberto continues to play the way he is playing right now then there is no point of trying to get Bellerin nor it would make sense for him.
Coutinho is interesting player but I don't think we will go for him next summer.

I think we are still looking for a rb.

Cuadrado has been mentioned also though I think he would be too expensive.
The EPL is a mediocre league. Alot of average players look good there. If you brought Hazard to la Liga he would struggle.

Obviously we're in the market for a right back, no matter how good Sergi is playing. Depth is key and since Lucho clearly doesn't rate Aleix (rather changing the system than playing him) the latter will certainly be off in winter which means we are in for a substitute right back for rotation, competition and in case of injury. The top choices like Bellerin, Cancelo and Clyne won't be available in January, so we're looking at an experienced stop-gap solution that isn't cup tied for the CL, which is why we've been linked with Srna, Lichtsteiner and even Glen Johnson. I would be happy with either tbh, as long as we're getting a younger right back in the summer as well.

There was a euro football pundit on the radio last night talking about Barca. He mentioned Bellerin and how easy it would be to get him . Basically he said that as he's ex Barca he covers a few bases , he's third choice for Spain which would chenge if he was the Barca RB and the way the Euro / pound values have changed since Brexit making UK based players infinitely more affordable for Spanish clubs . As regards Coutinho he said that he knows that Liverpool have already earmarked his replacement - a playmaker from Serie A apparently - talks ongoing . Coutinho is also big mates with Neymar so that's a win - win situation for us as it will help us keep Neymar at Barcelona . ..

I'd rather we didn't make panic buys. Mascherano can cover as RB and for Copa we can use Palencia or Nili.

Not sure if I see it that way. Bellerin keeps on harpng on how he made a great move by signing for Arsenal.

I wouldn't mind Coutinho though.

Suarez, leaving? The Barcelona transfer was his dream come true. His wife's family is living here. Why would he return to England, to ManU out of all teams?

I'm pretty sure he will retire here or at most seek a challenge in the MLS.

Glen Johnson?!?! Lichtsteiner?!?! You are joking right?!?! I would rather keep Vidal himself than those two!

And why wouldn't Cancelo be available in January? I don't think he has huge boyout fee.

Coutihno is a great player but we already have to many AM in our team. We can buy him only if we sell one or two of them. I would rather have one proper CM.

On the other hand imagine midfield Coutinho-Verratti-Busquets. I know it won't happen but that would be brutal. :)

I heard his buy-out is at least €30m, if you have a reliable source concerning the fee I would be happy if you could provide me with it, that would be great. Anyway, we're not going to spend 30m for a sub in january, nor is Valencia or even the player going to be willing to sell a starter in january. Lichtsteiner and Johnson on the other hand will be available almost for free in january and especially Lichsteiner would fit well in our system. Johnson is still great at attacking, and he's definitely not worse in defence than Aleix, so there's that. He would be used to rest Sergi and in case of injury. Furthermore guy, I think your reply is quite disrespectful, as you just insinuated I was joking in a sarcastic way without even providing the slightest argument supporting your point. So pleaaase, think before posting ta :)

Disrespectulf is stating that Johnson and Lichtensteiner at this age are good for Barca. Juventus didn't even register Lichtensteiner for CL and Glen Johnson who is no longer good for Liverpool is OK for Barca?! Only option I would be ok with is Srna but just for 6 months not a day more since he is also well past his prime, but I don't see that happening. Why would he come here just for 6 months and max 10 games after spending entire career in Shakhtar where he is a true legend?

Barca is the best team in the world so we should either bring our young players from B team to step in or buy some trully great players or great talents not old players who are well past their prime.

Please think before posting.

Cash and to be the MAIN MAN ?

Gareth Bale's new 6 year deal signed today has just raised the bar money wise - £350,000 per week NET - so they're paying him around £700,000 per week before deductions apparently !
