Barca Transfers and Rumors

My only concern with buying him though is that next season it basically means Suarez and Stuani will be the striking partnership. We wont be signing a young striker i.e. Gomez or Jovic if we actually sign Stuani to a contract.

i don't see any highly rated young strikers wanting to join with Suarez ahead of them though

Stuani has scored more than half of Girona's goals so far this season. Girona has a decent chance of qualifying to play in Europe next season. It would be incredible if Girona let him go this month.

15 mil is a lot for a 32 y.o. player. Think he's a decent option. Good in the air on the one hand, but not quick on the other. Depends on how many seasons he can give us/resell value (to China?).

Girona doesn't have a choice though. If Barca pays the release clause and Stuani wants to leave, there's nothing Girona can do.

Multiple reports are saying that we might sign Stuani from Girona this week for 15 million.
Makes no sense. He is 32. Rather sign a younger striker as a backup.

In other news, apparently P$G wants to sell Rabiot now for 15 million, but he refuses to be sold this window (WTF?). Maybe they don't want to sell to Barca or maybe our board still thinks that we can sign Frenkie and doesn't want to help P$G with FFP.
